Happy Sunday! Yesterday was a beautiful day! We all got out in the sun and hung out at Murdock's baseball jamboree. In the afternoon I got a chance to see the Gravity Janes building, and it is huge. It's going to be a great place to work out. Dan and I ended the day out at Sushiman for some great sushi. All in all, a perfect day.
This has been another good week for me. My strength has been good. My workouts have been daily and consistent. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday have been boot camp days. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday I have done my own version of boot camp. There is a rowing machine at work, so that's what I generally warm up with. Tuesday I did some squats, pull ups, dumb bell swings, lunges, push ups, and sit ups. Thursday's workout was a 3 exercise circuit, 30 reps each * 3 of the following: 15lb weighted sit ups, 30lb push presses, and box jumps. I finished up with some dumb bell swings. Saturday morning was a quick workout out, 30 kettle bell snatches, 30 push presses, and a 3 exercise circuit, 10 reps each * 5 of the following: chest presses, tricep dips, and push ups. I feel really good about my workouts. Today my plan is to take it easy, maybe a long walk.
Nutrition has been great too. This week I've brought my food more consistently, so I did not have to make choices out of the deli at work. My slip ups did not happen until this weekend. I had a small bowl of ice cream and Friday and Saturday night. My treats are over for the week, I'm back on focus. What's funny is that my treats have gotten a little better. Generally, I slather my ice cream with fudge, nuts, and whip cream, but this weekend I was happy with some ice cream and no condiments. It doesn't seem like much, but there have been so many little changes that have been made in the past three months and they have made a big difference.
I can't believe that it's been 3 months already. So far it's been a great journey, I've learned a lot, my body is more healthy, and I feel a lot stronger and happier. Thank you all so much for your support!!
Be Happy and Healthy!

Moe
